What kind of skills SMBs need to acquire to grow? Small and medium businesses require strategic thinking skills rather than opportunistic short-term picture thinking A mind shift is required so we need to understand how to create and if you look at it most modern medium businesses don’t survive for a long time as they are on an opportunistic model. It means you need to think – “how I’m going to have a sustainable business”.

Secondly, for the employee side of course having digital skills is important.

Mr. John has over 35 years of international digital and telecoms strategy, M&A, sales, marketing, and operations experience in the USA, Europe, Japan, UAE, Saudi Arabia India, and Malaysia and with shorter-term stints in Thailand and Brazil.

Prior to the founding of Digital IQ, John was the Chief Business and Wholesale Officer in Mobily (a tier 1 telecom operator in Saudi Arabia), with leadership responsibly for sales, marketing, customer care, operations, and collections. John’s other stints include as SVP of the SMB business unit for Etisalat with annual P&L responsibility for USD 1.3 B.
