If you still do not know, according to this year’s survey by the global network InterNations, the United Arab Emirates has just jumped 12 places!

Which makes it now the sixth best destination for expats to work and live, after ranking the 18th one in 2021.

It is a safe home!

Feeling safe even in your own home country is not always easy, so what if you are a foreigner?

It is really precious and rare to happen to feel really safe living in a foreign country, and in the United Arab Emirates, you are not only going to feel face, but you will literally feel like home!

This is statistically proven, according to about 94 per cent of UAE respondents compared with 81 per cent globally, who also confirm that the United Arab Emirates is more than just safe for women.

In the recent years, changes have been made to the visa system in the United Arab Emirates, in order to increase the beneficiaries out of it. So, you can find:

Skilled workers with no sponsor or employers can be offered this Green Visa which provides them a five years residency!

A bachelor's degree or its equivalent is required as a minimum educational requirement, and also the annual income cannot be less than Dh15,000.

  • One-year digital nomad visa

    The United Arab Emirates also offers a five-year retirement visa for expatriates over 55, and it established a one-year digital nomad visa in March 2021 that enables people to live in the Emirates while continuing to work for employers back home.
Variety of healthcare services

Imagine being an expat, getting sick and not being able to find an access to any healthcare services!

It's a nightmare, but you are definitely not going to face it as an expat in the United Arab Emirates.

Since according to the survey, 78% of UAE respondents said it was really simple to obtain a variety of healthcare services, and both the availability and quality of medical treatment were rated "extremely high".

It is easy to fit in!

One of the hardest missions for an expat is to fit in. It is a real struggle, but not in the United Arab Emirates!

Whoever you are, in the UAE, you’ll definitely feel accepted and welcomed, which will make it a million times easier for you to settle right there, build connections and make friends as well.

Comparatively to the global average of 56%, almost 65% of people indicated they are satisfied with their social lives. Furthermore, 74% of people said that the locals are very kind to foreign residents.

This is why according to the survey, many of expats have stated that they are having the opportunity to be innovative and think outside the box.

Foreign workers who moved to the UAE have declared that doing so has enhanced their career prospects by 79%. The poll discovered that this contrasts to a global average of 60%!
